How to get to the event

To get to the venue from outside the province of Alicante, the easiest options are the two described below. Similar options, with journeys in reverse order, can be used for departure.

1) Arrive to the Alicante-Elche Airport and then travel by bus to La Nucía via Benidorm.

The Alicante-Elche International Airport (IATA code: ALC, ICAO code: LEAL) provides diary flights to main Spanish airports (Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Ibiza, Seville, etc.) as well as many international flights. This airport is located 10km south-west from Alicante city, and is connected to Alicante by the motorway A-7. The airport is also connected to the center of Alicante city by the regular bus line C-6 (Alicante - Airport) every 40 minutes.

There is a bus line Airport-Benidorm operated by the company ALSA that connects the airport bus stop with the Benidorm Bus Station. The journey takes about 45 minutes. The schedule is from Monday to Sunday, from 8:00 to 17:00 every hour, and from 17:00 to 23:00 every two hours.

To get to the course RPRS15 in the village of La Nucía, it is necessary to take a second bus from the Benidorm Bus Station to La Nucia. This journey takes about 25 minutes. ALSA provides different schedules from Benidorm to La Nucia. You can find these schedules on the web of ALSA, by indicating as departure point "Benidorm" and as destination "La Nucia". Do not choose "La Nucia (U. xxx)" because these destinations are neighborhoods far from the village. Also note that, to connect between a trip and another, in the city of Benidorm, some buses to La Nucía have stops in the Jaime I street and the Europa Avenue, in addition to the Benidorm Bus Station.

2) Arrive to the Alicante train Station and then travel by bus to La Nucía via Benidorm.

The Alicante Train Station (formally Alicante Terminal) is located inside Alicante city. You can walk from the Train Station to the Alicante Bus Station in about 10-15 minutes, as the following map shows. You can click on the image to access to the map in Google Maps.

Map

The company Ubesa-ALSA offers a bus line that connects directly Alicante with the village of La Nucía. However, the earlier trip to La Nucía arrives at 11.40 AM. To reach La Nucía in time for the course, the better option is to get a bus from Alicante to Benidorm, and, then, a second bus from Benidorm to La Nucía. The first journey takes about 1 hour and the second about 25 minutes. ALSA also provides different schedules for these journeys, which can be seen in the web of ALSA, by indicating as points “Alicante”, "Benidorm" or "La Nucia". Do not choose "La Nucia (U. xxx)" because these destinations are neighborhoods far from the village. Also note that, to connect between a trip and another, in the city of Benidorm, these buses have stops in the Jaime I street and the Europa Avenue, in addition to the bus station of Benidorm.

As example, you can take a bus in Alicante Bus Station at 8:50 AM and arrive at the Benidorm Bus Station at 9:30 AM. Then, in Benidorm Bus Station, you can take a bus at 10:15 AM to reach La Nucía at 10:40 AM.
