  1. Type: Remote Lab
    Language: English
Author: A. Vicino, D. Prattichizzo, A. Garulli, M. Casini, A. Giannitrapani (Università di Siena)
Description: Server including remote experiments on different plants (motor, magnetic levitation, helicopter, LEGO robot, tanks). It allows the introduction of control code developed by the user and even contemplates the realization of system identification practices and competitions among students. The lab also includes the simulation of some system like a 2 DOF helicopter.

  3. Type: MOOC
    Language: English
    Author: Pedro Albertos, UPV
Description: MOOC "An interactive course about the basic concepts of Systems, Control and their impact in all the human activities", taught by Prof. Pedro Albertos. This course requires a minimum use of mathematics, and, thus, it is adequate for beginning students or researches from other areas. It lasts for six weeks, an its free.

  4. Type: Virtual Lab
    Language: English
Author: Bill Messner (U. Carnegie Mellon), Dawn Tilbury (U. of Michigan) Rick Hill (U Detroit-Mercy), and many students.
Description: Control Tutorials for MATLAB and Simulink (CTMS) are designed to help you learn how to use MATLAB and Simulink for the analysis and design of automatic control systems. They cover the basics of MATLAB and Simulink and introduce the most common classical and modern control design techniques.

  7. Type: Software tool
    Language: English
    Author: Francisco Esquembre
Description: Easy Java/Javascript Simulations, also known as EjsS (and, formerly, EJS or Ejs), is a free authoring tool written in Java that helps non-programmers create interactive simulations in Java or Javascript, mainly for teaching or learning purposes. EjsS has been created by Francisco Esquembre and is part of the Open Source Physics project.

  8. Type: Software tool, Simulation
    Language: English
    Author: GNU
Description: GNU Octave is a high-level interpreted language, primarily intended for numerical computations. It provides capabilities for the numerical solution of linear and nonlinear problems, and for performing other numerical experiments. It also provides extensive graphics capabilities for data visualization and manipulation. Octave is normally used through its interactive command line interface, but it can also be used to write non-interactive programs. The Octave language is quite similar to Matlab so that most programs are easily portable. Octave is distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

  9. Type: Software Tool, Virtual Lab
    Language: English
Author: IEEE CSS - TC on Computer Aided Control System Design, Herman Mann
Description: DYNAST is a software package for efficient and easy modeling, simulation and analysis of multidisciplinary nonlinear dynamic systems. Dynamic multipole models that can be set up in DYNAST in a graphical form characterize directly the real configuration of dynamic systems. The multipole models, however, can be combined with equations and block diagrams. DYNAST not only solves nonlinear algebro-differential equations, but also automatically formulates them for the multipole models. So there is no need to form any equations, block diagrams, or bond graphs. DYNAST is also able to linearize the models and to provide their semisymbolic analysis in time- and frequency-domains. In the web site, also solved examples and a course on dynamics of control systems are accessible
